It was so great to photograph Sarah & Ryan, this was one of the first good weather photo session days that I’ve had so far this year, and even though the wind may have kicked up a little with a bit of a chill it was a great session none the less. Deciding to shoot their engagement session at The Mill at Fine Creek, we were going for a very outdoorsy/natural engagement and I love that they were willing to get a little messy with the donuts for the shoot! I can’t wait to photograph their wedding this year at the same spot! Here are a few of my favorites from the day as well as their engagement story in their own words.
“Sarah is obsessed with Breakfast At Tiffany. It was our 3rd year anniversary. Ryan made reservations at our favorite restaurant P.F. Changs. He pretended to get a phone call that our reservations got pushed back. To kill time he wanted to go into Tiffany & Co. It was probably the one and only time Sarah didn’t want to go into her favorite store. He finally got her to go in and take a look around. When walking past the engagement ring section, Sarah noticed a sign in the display case that said “Sarah will you marry me?” At first, she thought it was a coincidence and as she turned to point it out to Ryan she noticed he was on one knee with the ring in hand. Suddenly, there were flashes of photographers, champagne being poured into flutes by the store manager for us, and an entire store of people cheering!”
