Stephanie + Victor decided to begin the new year not with resolutions but with a promise of love, and not just for the year but for the rest of their lives. On the first day of the new year these two decided to tie the knot at The John Marshall Ballrooms (one of my favorite hidden spots in Richmond). After spending just a little time with these two you can immediately tell that they are go getters independent and strong willed. However, get them together and you can tell how right they are for each other. Their love isn’t the over the top romantic love that is showy for everyone to see. It is more subtle and honest, it is the way that Victor holds Stephanie when they dance on a corner street, or the way they light each other up when they are together. The love that their family and friends have for them is inspiring as well, from a friend nervous to speak in front of crowds standing up to marry them to Stephanie’s father and uncles singing my girl to her at the reception. These two are just surrounded by love and by people who want nothing for the best for them, this is one part of weddings that I never tire of (the incredible sense of promise and love). I can’t wait to see where you two go from here, thank you for letting me be a part of your journey.
It’s interesting to look back over the course of the year at your own work, a lot has happened this past year and I loved every minute of it! Here are some of my favorite photos of 2015!
